Hikari House is a recently renovated traditional Kyoto house located in a peaceful setting just to the west of the Kyoto Imperial Palace. The house displays a cosy kitchen and dining room with wooden flooring, and a separate quiet room with entertainment amenities overlooking a tranquil Japanese garden. 

The entertainment room features a 55-inch TV with complimentary Netflix giving access to English movies and TV series, plus a spare sofa bed for added flexibility. The modern bath/shower room is newly renovated and has separated toilet facilities. The house also features a small Japanese Zen garden which is visible from the lounge room, creating a calming atmosphere. Just a 900m walk to the Subway with good bus access, plus convenience store/supermarket nearby. 

The house is a non-smoking property. We request the smokers do so down the street from the property. 

Kyoto is a truly wonderful city full of culture and history. So much so, that it might be hard to know where to start. We highly recommend allocating at least 4-5 days to explore and enjoy the town, and even then you will be left wanting more!
